This morning was hell . My commute takes me from Thornton Pkwy down to Santa Fe and Hampden. Idiots abound. I got cut off by a California plated Tacoma, which nearly ran me into the center lane, occupying someone else's spot. Then there was three accidents over the course of one mile on SB Santa Fe. Then once the accidents cleared, some cockjuggler in a Saturn (of all cars) decides it would be a great idea to pass me on the shoulder, though the lane to my left is completely open, again cutting me off.

I did take advantage of the weather by performing a very nice handbrake-actuated slide through the parking lot at work
It's the only way I have found that this shitbox Focus is remotely enjoyable

My commute in to work from Parker to South Littleton along C470, was as expected... slow. 50 MPH slow and that was at 6AM. We need more (or any) of the minimum speed signs for the # 1 lane. It seems everyone forgets how to drive in snow for the first few storms that accumulate anything on the ground. And, God forbid anyone actually moves over to the right lane....they're scared as shit they'll spin out when crossing the 1" of snow that builds up between lanes.

I drive South on Wadsworth all the way until the end and curve right, without going to Roxborough. If you can figure that out, shh...don't tell anyone.
We used to live in the tech center before we purchased our house in Parker.

oooh, secrets!
So, a few times I've been out for a bit of a cruise and stumbled upon the various aerotech facilities, they frown upon 2am randoms showing up on twisty backroads near their gates, as it turns out :)
specifically the one up in deer creek canyon

Yeah, I have some pretty good stories about people blowing through the checkpoints at our facilities...it's not recommended. Unless you like firearms pointed at you and going to jail, I'd avoid it at all cost.

lol, so I turned up at the air force academy once, get stopped at the gate and went something like:
gate attendee: licence!
monkey: *hands over license, smiles*
gate attendee: why you here?
monkey: I hear you have some planes on static display for public viewing
gate attendee: *stares at license, stares at me, back at license* *long pause* *hands back license* not today, you can turn around there
